MAY 2011 - Connecting with hairdressers in 4 locations across the UK and ROI this May, the Redken Connects Tour 2011 was a unique fusion of fashion, science, inspiration, education and of course, the highly anticipated NYC Hair Awards Regional Finals!
Performing to Sold Out crowds, Redken Artists Andrew Barton, AJ Blackadder, Chris Moody, Billy Crago, Lee Stafford and Adam Browne, led by host Toby Meyer, took Redken’s special brand of NYC cool onstage in Dublin, Cardiff, Manchester and London.
Inspiration was key from the minute the doors opened to reveal the Redken Learning Pods; interactive zones focusing on the latest cutting, coloring and styling techniques demonstrated by some of the UK’s biggest Redken Artists. A dedicated retail zone showcased exciting new Redken launches.
Onto the main attraction, and the theme for the 2011 Connects Show was the spectacular ‘Inspiring World of Redken Shapes and Shadows’ collection. Shapes and Shadows was the vision of eight global Redken Artists who created a fashion-forward collection showcasing innovation in technique, design and colour, based on interpretations of shapes and shadows.
Congratulations to the Regional Winners who will now be competing at Tribe2011 on the 12th September at Brixton Academy London, to be crowned 2011 Redken Color Genius, Style Innovator and Male Expert.
